Superintendent's Welcome -

Welcome to the Clarke County Schools' website.

I want to thank you for your interest in the Clarke County Schools. We are very proud of the services we provide our children. Our personnel are committed to providing an educational opportunity that prepares our students to compete in a technology-rich society and that will also prepare them for the next step in their educational journey.  The staff believes each child is unique, and it is our responsibility to provide the best education possible in an environment that is challenging, yet caring and inviting.

The District's success is directly connected to a dedicated and talented staff, active and strong parental involvement, and a supportive and generous community.  Our focus on the whole child means students are educated to become successful, productive citizens who are critical thinkers and who exhibit strong moral character. Our goal is to help each child reach his or her fullest potential.

Preparing our students in this 21st century is a challenge that we take seriously. At Clarke County Schools, delivering a world-class education for our students can no longer be our goal. It must become our standard.

I am fortunate to be part of a professional community that approaches its work with optimism and a tremendous sense of possibility. We are bound only by the limits of our talent and our creativity. I lead a team of dedicated administrators, talented teachers and committed support staff, involved families and supportive community members, working in partnership to strengthen educational excellence.  I continue to be proud and privileged to be the Superintendent of the Clarke County Schools.

As you navigate our website, we hope you will find a great deal of helpful information about programs, activities, and upcoming events. You may also contact us at (251) 250-2155.
